The grievance of the petitioners is that Ext.P2

joint application has not been taken up and appropriate orders were not passed in spite of the fact that it was filed on 03.09.2020.

On instructions, the learned Senior Government Pleader submitted that the matter is proposed to be taken up and heard in the next RTA meeting.

Accordingly, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction that Ext.P2 application may be taken up, heard and disposed of in accordance with law and on the basis of the materials on record and after due enquiry, in the next RTA meeting, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a copy of this judgment. If for any

reason, the meeting could not be convened, the authority may consider it by invoking Rule 130 of the

Kerala Motor Vehicles Rules.
