JUDGMENT

Petitioner is now working as Santhi in Cheruvallikavu Devaswom, Pakkil Sub Group under the Kottayam group. He had applied for transfer to Vaikom group during the previous periods. The grievance of the petitioner is that, even though so many vacancies are available in the Vaikom group, his request for transfer to that place evidenced by Exts.P1 and P2 applications are not yet considered. Accordingly, petitioner filed Exts.P3 and P4 representations before the Devaswom Board. Those also have not been taken up even now.

Having considered the limited prayer and the facts involved therein, I am inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition itself by directing the first respondent/Board to take up, consider and dispose on merits Exts.P3 and P4 representations, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after giving a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner to be heard, either physically and if not possible, by virtual mode.

Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
