JUDGMENT

The limited prayer of the petitioner is for a direction to the respondent to finalise the timings in respect of the permit that was already granted to him vide Ext.P2 communication.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Government Pleader for the respondent.

The learned Government Pleader would submit, on instructions, that the timings can be finalised within six weeks. Taking note of the said submission, I dispose this writ petition directing the respondent to consider and finalise the timings for the vehicle, in respect of which the permit is granted to the petitioner in Ext.P2 communication, within an outer time limit of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioner and others likely to be affected by the order to be passed by the respondent. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition together with a copy of the judgment before the respondent for further action.
