JUDGMENT

The limited prayer of the petitioners is for a direction to the 1^st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 application preferred by the petitioners for transfer of Ext.P1 contract carriage permit to the name of the 2^nd petitioner.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and also the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the Bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1^st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext. P3 application, after hearing the petitioners and others likely to be affected by the orders to be passed by the 1^st respondent, within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioners shall produce a copy of the writ petition together with a copy of the judgment before the 3^rd respondent for further action.
