The petitioner has approached this Court on being aggrieved by the delay in considering his request to release Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.10,50,610/- made by him, pursuant to Ext.P1 bid submission confirmation letter. The bid was for supply and sale of Pooja items at the Mahadeva Temple, Ettumanoor.

When this matter is taken up for consideration today, it

is submitted by the learned standing counsel for the Travancore Devaswom Board, on instructions, that the question of refund of EMD will be considered within a period of ten days. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that recording the said submission this writ petition can be disposed of.

In the said circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Travancore Devaswom Board to consider the request of the petitioner to release the EMD, which was
