When this matter was called today, there was no representation for the appellant. The name of Sri.U.K.Ramakrishnan, learned senior counsel is shown on the files as being the Advocate on record presumably because this is filed at a time when he had not yet been designated. It is submitted by Sri.Krishna Menon, learned counsel of M/s.Menon and Menon Advocates, that they are no longer retained to appear for the appellant. The records further show that there is no arrangement for appearance through counsel. I am therefore, of the view that the appellant is perhaps no longer interested in prosecuting this Appeal any further.
This Appeal is consequently dismissed for default.
