JUDGMENT

The petitioners, who retired from the service in the month of April-May 2017 while working as Drivers in the Pala depot of the KSRTC, is before this Court in this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to sanction and disburse the retirement benefits such as arrears of monthly pension, Commuted Value of Pension, DCRG, Staff Welfare Fund and also Terminal Leave Surrender salary admissible to the petitioners.

The learned Standing Counsel for the KSRTC would submit that the pension papers of the petitioners are under process and the admissible monthly pension and other terminal benefits shall be disbursed without any delay.

Having considered the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and also the learned Standing

Counsel for the KSRTC, representing the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to sanction and disburse all admissible pension and other pensionary benefits payable to the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this judgment, if there is no other legal impediment standing in
