JUDGMENT
The petitioner, who retired from the service on 30.06.2017 while working as a Vehicle Supervisor at Pala depot of the KSRTC, is before this Court in this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to sanction and disburse the retirement benefits such as arrears of monthly pension, Commuted Value of Pension, DCRG, Staff Welfare Fund and Provident Fund with interest admissible to the petitioner.

Having considered the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Standing Counsel for the KSRTC, representing the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to sanction and disburse all admissible pension and other pensionary benefits payable to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this judgment, if there is no other legal impediment standing in the way.
