The petitioner, who is the registered owner of a TATA Xenon Crew Cab bearing registration No.KL23/M-3684, covered by Ext.P1 certificate of registration, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P2 application for exemption of the
said vehicle from the provisions of Rule 304 of the Kerala Motor Vehicle Rules, invoking the powers under Rule 334 of the said Rules.
