The remarks called for by the registry reveal that the pleadings in OP. 1141/2017 are not yet complete and that older cases are pending on the file of the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram. However, we notice that both parties are senior citizens and that an expeditious disposal of the case is warranted in the circumstances.
We therefore direct the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram to dispose of OP. 1141/2017 on its file on or before 31.12.2018 in the circumstances.
The original petition is disposed of.
