“For these and other grounds to be urged at the time of hearing it is most humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a direction to the first and second respondents to dispose SM No.167/2018 within a reasonable time.”

Heard Sri.U.K. Devidas, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner and Sri. M.I. Johnson, learned Senior Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

Based on the request from this Court, the learned Senior Government Pleader has now secured instructions from the official respondents that the Land Tribunal (Devaswom), Malappuram will take all reasonable measures to ensure early final disposal of S.M. No.167/2018 within a period of one year from the date of completion of service of notice on all the affected parties concerned in that proceedings. The said submission on behalf of the official respondents is recorded.

Accordingly, it is ordered that the Land Tribunal (Devaswom), Malappuram will take all reasonable measures possible under the circumstances to ensure early final disposal of S.M. No.167/2018 without much delay, preferably within a period of one year from the date of completion of service of notice on all the affected parties concerned. The petitioner will produce a certified copy of this judgment before the Land Tribunal (Devaswom), Malappuram for necessary information.

With the above observations and directions, this Original Petition (Civil) will stand finally disposed of.
