The prayer in this Original Petition (Civil) filed under the enabling

provisions contained in Art.227 of the Constitution of India is as follows:

“Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the 2^nd respondent to commence proceedings in S.M.No.3234/2016 and to dispose of the same within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court.”

Heard Sri.D.G.Vipin, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner. The learned Senior Govt. Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

Sri.Saigi Jacob Palatty, learned Senior Govt. Pleader submits on the basis of the instructions from the respondent authorities that the Land Tribunal, Ottapalam, will take all reasonable steps for early final disposal of S.M.No.3234/2016 pending before that authority within one year from the date of completion of service of notice on all the parties concerned.

Accordingly, it is ordered that the Land Tribunal,Ottapalam, will take all endeavours possible under the circumstances to dispose of S.M.No.3234/2016 pending before that authority, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one year from the date of completion of service of notice on all the parties concerned.
