Petitioners are having more than 50 years of continuous, uninterrupted service as sales women with the third respondent and they are entitled for regularisation under the scheme launched by the Government and completion ten years of continuous service. Claiming regularisation petitioners have submitted Ext.P8 representation dated 28.05.2016 before the first respondent and the same is pending consideration. Non disposal of Ext.P8 is the grievance highlighted by the petitioners in this writ petition.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader and learned counsel appearing for the third respondent, there will be a direction to the first respondent to take on board Ext.P8 representation submitted by the petitioners

and consider the same in accordance with law and in terms of the scheme launched by the first respondent within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment after providing an opportunity of hearing to any one of the petitioners by issuance of notice.
