JUDGMENT
The petitioner had challenged the reversion attempted
from the post of Sub Inspector. The petitioner had been granted an interim order of stay of reversion, subject to the condition that the reversion shall be effected only if a suitable candidate from the select list prepared by the Departmental Promotion Board is to be appointed. It is seen from I.A.No.701 of 2001 filed by the petitioner that the petitioner was so reverted. Since the petitioner has not challenged the reversion, the instant Original Petition has become infructuous. However, the challenge against the reversion, if so advised, would be left open.
The Original Petition would stand closed as infructuous.
