the owners of the property filed Exhibit P2 suit as O.S. No.64/2015 before the Munsiff Court, Parappanangadi for eviction of the respondent from the building with arrears of rent. The respondent is trying to prolong the case. It is seen from the report that there is no regular officer for that Court and the present Officer is in charge of that Court conducting sitting on two days in a week, namely Tuesday and Thursday. The pleadings in this case are complete and issues have been framed and it is posted for pre-trial steps. However, the Munsiff has expressed willingness to dispose of the case within eight months. So considering the circumstances this Court feels that the petition can be disposed of after accepting the report of the presiding officer. Though there is no prayer for speedy disposal of O.S. No.198/2014 pending before the same Court between the same parties in respect of the same property, this Court feels that a direction can be given to dispose of that suit also along with this suit. It is true that older cases may be pending before that Court. But, petitioner is a senior citizen aged 73 years.
