JUDGMENT

This contempt petition is filed by the petitioner stating

that the directions issued by this Court to pay pensionary benefits is not complied by the petitioner.

On instructions, learned Standing Counsel has produced a communication dated 18.8.2016 from the KSRTC, in which it stated an amount of Rs.6,66,388/- has been paid towards pension arrears to the petitioner by cheque No. 1695506 dated 18.8.2016. The said submission made by the learned counsel, evident from document produced is

recorded.

Therefore, I do not think there is no reason to pursue the contempt proceedings any further. If any amount is due to the petitioner, petitioner will be at liberty to approach the Corporation.

Leaving open the liberty, contempt case is closed.
