Petitioners are accused Nos. 8 and 7 respectively, in Crime No. 4 of 2014 of the Angamaly Police station for the offences punishable under Sections 143,147, 148, 324, 326 and 307 read with Section 149 of the IPC, apprehend arrest and have filed the application.

complaint dated 26.03.2014 was filed before the jurisdictional magistrate alleging that the investigation is not proceeding the correct line and that these accused who are actually involved are not being proceeded against. Further investigation was conducted and the statements of the injured and other eye witnesses were recorded. They referred to the involvement of these accused as well. As per their version, the 8th accused has pushed down the injured when others attacked him. The 7th accused assaulted the injured with a bottle.
It is directed that in case these accused are arrested, they shall be produced before the jurisdictional magistrate, as early as possible.
The application is disposed of as above.
