The only prayer urged at the time of hearing is for an expeditious consideration of an application filed seeking conversion of limited stop ordinary service as fast passenger service in respect of the stage carriage bearing registration No.KL 59/A 5900 being operated by the petitioner on the route Kozhikode-Palakkad. The Government Pleader alertly points out that fast passenger service is exclusively reserved for State Transport Undertaking by virtue of a notification No.5651/B2/2009/Trans. of Transport (B) Department dated 2.8.2012.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
