J U D G M E N T

The only prayer urged at the time of hearing is for a direction to consider Ext.P1 series applications preferred for registration under the Kerala Headload Workers Act. The petitioners seek registration under Rule 26 A of the Kerala Headload Workers Rules on the ground that they are attached workers engaged in 'C.T.N.Vegetables'.

I direct the first respondent Assistant Labour Officer to consider Ext.P1 series applications as per law after due notice to the affected parties. The Kerala Headload Workers Welfare Board shall also be put on notice since the place falls within the scheme covered area. Final orders in this regard shall be passed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
