The learned Ombudsman has submitted TDB Report No.157 of 2013 in respect of the complaint filed by one Sri.V.Vishnu Bhattathiri, Thanthri of Ramapuram Devi Temple,
Haripad. After considering various aspects, in paragraph 7 of the report, the following suggestions have been made by the
learned Ombudsman:-
“7. It is therefore suggested that the Hon'ble High Court may direct the Finance and Accounts Officer of the Travancore Devaswom Board to get the accounts of the Temple Advisory Committee of GradeI Ramapuram Devi Temple audited and also direct the Local Fund Audit to audit the accounts of the Devaswom Office of the Temple and also direct to issue receipt for the amounts contributed by devotees at the time of Para Ezhunnellippu.”

the learned Ombudsman and the learned Standing Counsel for
the Travancore Devaswom Board, who submitted that in terms of the suggestions made by the learned Ombudsman, the accounts will be audited. Instructions will be given to issue receipts for the contributions made by devotees at the time of Para Ezhunnellippu .
DBP is disposed of accordingly.
