The Travancore Devaswom Board has sought permission to revise

the rates of certain items as follows:

i. rate of Vedivazhipadu from 5/- to 10/- for a single offering, ₹ ₹ ii. rate for use of pilgrim shelter at Sabarimala from 10/- to 20/-₹ ₹ per head, iii. rate of cloth bag from 5/- to 10/- per bag and,₹ ₹ iv. rate of bio-degradable carry bags from 5/- to 10/-₹ ₹

Learned Standing Counsel submitted that the revision is

proposed in the light of the expenditure involved. In fact, this Court had

sought for a clarification with regard to the period prescribed for the use of pilgrim shelter for which the Board is collecting 20/- per head. It is₹

¶35

submitted that the amount represents the use of the same, per person upto

¶36

24 hours. The same is recorded. We sanction the same as sought for.
