J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is working as a Senior Technical Assistant in NPOL, Kochi. According to the petitioner, the course of Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (India) [AMIE] is equivalent to B.Tech as recognised by the first respondent. There are two sections of the course, one - Section A, having five papers and the other Section B, having 10 papers. The petitioner completed Section A and passed the papers in the said Section in the year 2004. There was a change in the marking system, that is, from marking system to grading system, while the petitioner was undergoing the course in 2005.
