J U D G M E N T

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to call for the documents leading to Exts.P1 to P6 and to issue a direction to complete the proceedings initiated on the basis of Ext.P5 by effecting mutation of the property and by receiving land tax.

This Court by interim order dated 26.03.2012 recorded

the submission of the learned Government Pleader that proceedings are being issued in the matter.

The petitioner has produced Ext.P7 which is a communication dated 27.03.2012 issued to the petitioner by the Tahsildar wherein it is recorded that as per the resurvey records, the properties will be included in survey Nos.81/5 and 124/1. In respect of the property in survey No.81/5 to the extent of 0.0080 hectare, mutation can be effected and in respect of the property in survey No.124/1 having an extent of 0.7773 hectare, being Government land, mutation cannot be effected.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is satisfied with the proposal for mutation in respect of the land included in survey No.81/5.

In that view of the matter, there will be a direction to the 2^nd respondent to see that action is completed in terms of Ext.P7 dated 27.03.2012 to effect mutation expeditiously and the same will be finalized within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
