The petitioner is conducting quarrying operation in his property comprised in Survey No. 3/9 of Veliyam Village, He had been getting renewal of the permit also. Presently, the petitioner is aggrieved by Ext.P8 communication. A reading of the same will show that there is Government land adjoining the property of the petitioner, wherein also quarrying has taken place. There is an allegation that there was unauthorised quarrying operation. But petitioner contended that quarrying done by him as per the permit is only in the area earmarked therein.

survey within a period of ten days from today and thereafter the proceedings will be finalised within a further period of one month. The same is recorded. Thus the above steps will be expedited and thereafter depending on the outcome, appropriate orders will be passed by the competent among the respondents. The petitioner will forward a copy of the writ petition along with a certified copy of this judgment to the 3rd respondent, for compliance.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
