Petitioners are accused Nos.1 to 3 in Crime No. 572 of 2012 of Ranni Police Station, Pathanamthitta. Offences alleged against them are under sections 452 and 307 r/w Sn.34 IPC. Petitioners have been in custody from 17-7-2012 onwards.

where a person who had sustained injury was admitted in the hospital and that man when he was in the hospital was attacked. It cannot be viewed lightly. That will send a wrong message and would inculcate a feeling of insecurity that even a person who is admitted in the hospital for treatment is not safe at the hands of such criminals. The investigation is at the initial stage.
