J U D J M E N T

Petitioner in writ petition No.29889 of 2003 is the management and petitioner in writ petition No.49 of 2004 is the workman. Both the workman and management has challenged the award dated 31-03-2003, passed in I.D.No.228/1992 by the Labour Court, Ernakulam. Parties have settled the dispute in pursuance to the order dated 29/11/2011. An amount of ` 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand only) has been paid and receipt has been obtained which has been kept on record. Since the parties have settled the dispute, no further orders need be passed. The impugned award is modified accordingly. The amount so paid shall be treated as full and final settlement of all the claims of the workmen including gratuity.
