JUDGMENT

In pursuance to the interim order dated 09.11.2011 passed by this Court, the respondents have taken a decision that since the petitioner was granted study leave without salary, the award granted to him by U.G.C may not be cancelled and he was allowed to draw his emoluments under the University Grants Commission Award as per the Rules.

In that view of the matter, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this case. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed directing the respondents to disburse the arrears due to the petitioner by 12.01.2012. The future payments shall be made in accordance with the scheme. It is made clear that this order will not be a precedent to any other case.
