J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is a former employee of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the `KSRTC' for short). He retired from service on 31.11.2007 while he was working as Conductor in the KSRTC. The grievance voiced by the petitioner is that though his turn for payment of DCRG and Commuted Value of Pension has arisen, even going by the rule of seniority, the said amounts have not so far been disbursed. In this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to disburse the DCRG and Commuted Value of Pension together with interest.
In the light of the said submission, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to disburse the DCRG and Commuted Value of Pension to the petitioner expeditiously and in any event, within two weeks from today, failing which the petitioner will be entitled to simple interest at the rate of 6% per annum on the amount of DCRG from this day onwards till the date of payment.
