The petitioner has approached this court complaining harassment by the police.
was a former employee of Himalaya Chit Funds, Cherai. The Partners of the said firm are undergoing life imprisonment in connection with a murder case. The petitioner was cited as witness in some cases. Now he is working as a bus conductor. It is his complaint that he was summoned to the police station on several occasions and the third respondent told the petitioner that he has pressure from superior officers, especially the second respondent, to collect evidence against the convicted accused enabling the police to submit a negative report on the parole application of the Partners of Himalaya Chit Funds.

the petitioner is a suspect in Crime No. 55 of 2008 of Munambam Police Station in respect of an offence under Section 380 I.P.C. It is further submitted that no application for parole has been received by the S.H.O. and the allegation made that he is harassed is not correct. Learned Government Pleader submits that the petitioner will not be harassed,
