JUDGMENT

The petitioner retired from the service of the first respondent Corporation on 30.6.2008 while working as Chargeman at Vellanad Depot.

The main prayer in this writ petition is for a direction to disburse the D.C.R.G. and Commuted Value of Pension in the revised scale, for meeting the expenses incurred in connection with the marriage of his daughter.

It is submitted that the marriage is scheduled to be held on 30.5.2010, as evidenced by Ext.P2 copy of the marriage invitation letter. The petitioner stated that he had to avail other sources for conducting the marriage. In W.A. No.289/2001, this Court has permitted out of turn payment with the permission of this Court in genuine cases. Since the reason shown is a genuine one, I am of the view that a direction can be issued to the respondents to disburse the pensionary benefits to the petitioner.

Therefore, there will be a direction to the respondents to disburse the DCRG and Commuted Value of Pension as sought for by the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this

The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
