J U D G M E N T
The petitioners are aggrieved by the action of respondents 4 and 5 in obstructing a public water channel, which is used by the petitioners also. The petitioners also rely on Ext. P3 report of the Village Officer, which, according to the petitioner, would go to prove that all the allegations raised by them are correct. Detailing their grievance in this regard, the petitioners have submitted Ext. P2 petition before the 1st respondent and the petitioners seek a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext. P2 expeditiously.
Despite service of notice, respondents 4 and 5 have not cared to appear the contest the matter. Having heard the learned Government Pleader also, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext. P2 as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well as respondents 4 and 5.
