J U D G M E N T
The petitioner was appointed as a Peon in the fourth respondent's school. Thereafter, the fourth respondent appointed the petitioner to a regular vacancy of Laboratory Assistant consequent to the retirement of one Sri.P.Balakrishnan on 31-122007. However, as per Ext.P3 order, the third respondent declined to approve the said appointment on the ground that three Laboratory Assistants are working against two sanctioned posts. The contention of the petitioner is that in 1991 itself, four posts of Laboratory Assistants were sanctioned to the school and the said sanctioned posts were not subsequently reduced or abolished. Therefore, Exts.P8 and P9 Government Orders are not applicable. Raising all such contentions, the petitioner has approached the first respondent through Ext.P11 representation, which is now pending before the first respondent.
In these circumstances, without making any observation as to the merits of the contentions raised in this writ petition, it is

disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P11 representation, expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
