JUDGMENT

Claim in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to reimburse the amount of Medi Claim Insurance. Petitioner submits that following failure of his left ventricle, he was hospitalized, and therefore he is entitled to the benefit of insurance. It is on account of the above, he raised a claim for reimbursement of Rs.1,15,414/-. Complaining of delay in settling the claim, this writ petition has been filed.

Along with counter affidavit, the respondents have filed Exhibit R2(a) order passed by Government of Kerala and the first respondent is accepting the claim of the petitioner to the extent of 80 percent of the amount claimed, subject to the other conditions mentioned therein.

In view of this, it is directed that the petitioner will be given the benefit of Exhibit R2(a) as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within eight weeks of production of copy of this judgment.

Writ petition is disposed of as above.
