The writ petition is filed mainly with the following
prayer :-
“Declare that the petitioner is entitled to keep the custody of his unmarried daughter Revathy Brahmanandan in his family house along with other family members as in the usual course of family life in spite of her attainment of majority, considering her own well being and such right of the petitioner is coming within the ambit of his fundamental right as guaranteed by Article 21 of the Constitution of India.”
In view of the judgment in W.P.(Crl) No.160 of 2007, it is submitted that the writ petition may be permitted to be withdrawn, without prejudice to the liberty to the petitioner to move this Court, if necessary. Ordered accordingly.
