Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGA

for respondent No.3 and learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2.

A perusal of the material on record will indicate

that the petitioner having submitted representation at Annexure-H, dated 11.04.2025 and issued a legal notice at Annexure-J dated 27.11.2025 to respondent Nos.1 and 2, who forwarded the same to respondent No.3-state vide Annexure-K dated 20.08.2025 and also issued a reply at Annexure-L and Annexure-M dated 08.12.2025 to the petitioner, respondent No.3 has not taken any steps pursuant to the same and as such petitioner is before this Court by way of the present petition.

Learned AGA on instruction submits that if reasonable time is granted, respondent No.3-State shall address the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate decision or pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

and the undisputed fact that the respondent No.3-State has not taken any steps/actions nor passed any orders or taken decision pursuant to Annexures-H, J, K, L and M, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition directing respondent No.3-State to address the grievance of the petitioner as regards the change of his date of birth from 01.07.1966 to 01.07.1971 and take appropriate decisions/pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after providing sufficient and reasonable opportunity to the petitioner within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Subject to the aforesaid directions, the petition

stands disposed of in accordance with law.
