In the present writ petition, the petitioner

has assailed the order dated 24.09.2021 passed by the Joint Director of Regional Land Records (JDLR), Mysuru Region, produced at Annexure-K.

Having considered the submissions made by

the learned counsel appearing for the parties, it is noticed that Respondent No.2, by the impugned order, has remanded the matter to the Assistant Director of

Land Records (ADLR), Channarayapatna, with a direction to conduct a fresh durasth proceedings after verifying the measurements of the land in question.

In view of the aforesaid fact that the impugned order merely remands the matter for fresh consideration and verification of the land measurements, this Court is of the considered opinion that no interference is called for this writ petition.

It is also pertinent to note that the impugned proceedings relate to the year 2021, whereas the present writ petition has been filed after a lapse of about five years. The writ petition therefore

suffers from delay and laches and is liable to be

dismissed on that ground as well.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed .
