This petition by the respondents in arbitration proceedings before the Arbitral Tribunal is directed against the impugned order dated 04.01.2024 passed by the commercial court in Com.A.A.No.355/2023, whereby the request made by the respondent – applicant under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of time to complete the arbitration proceedings was allowed by the commercial court.

Though several contentions have been urged by the petitioners in support of their respective claims, it is a matter of record that the arbitration proceedings are posted before the Arbitral Tribunal on 22.06.2024 and the same are nearing completion. Under these circumstances, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition without interfering with the impugned order and directing the Arbitral Tribunal to conclude the arbitration proceedings on or before **_03.09.2024_* . Liberty is reserved
