A Memo filed on behalf of the petitioner, reads as under:-

“ MEMO FOR THE DISPOSAL FILED BY THE ADV FOR PETITIONER.

The aforesaid Petitioner has called in question the Order/s dtd: 13.11.2023; dtd: 05.01.2024 (Annexure-E & F) passed by the Respondent-state Govt U/s 17A of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2018 permitting either enquiry or investigation against the said petitioner-G Manjunath & others. The Respondent state has already filed the Memo dtd: 01.04.2024 before this Hon’ble Court on 05.04.2024, that withdrawing the approval granted U/s 17A of the PC Act for conduct of investigation against the petitioners in W.P.No.3890 of 2024 (GM-RES) & 11 writ petitions. All these Petitions are connected with the above writ petition. And the above petition is left out in the said batch of W.P No.’S. 3890 of 2024 and other 11 petitions.

Hence, with regard the Order so passed withdrawing the approval that was granted U/s 17A of the PC Act by the state, reserving such liberty to the petitioners to knock at the doors of this Hon’ble Court in the event any prejudicial action is taken in the same cause of action in future.

Wherefore, for the reasons stated above, this Hon’ble court may be, pleased to dispose of, the above writ petition as having now become unnecessary to be considered int eh light of Order/communication dtd: 01.04.2024 from the hands
