In this petition, petitioner seeks for the following reliefs:-

“i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or directions directing the respondent No.4 to enter the name of the petitioner in column No.9 of the Record of Rights in respect of land Sy.No.498/A, measuring 18-Acres 05-Guntas, situated at Masuti village, Kolhar taluka, Vijayapura District.

ii) Be pleased to allow this writ petition with costs and grant such other reliefs as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit under the facts and

circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions,

submits that the petition may be disposed of reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to submit a fresh / new representation to the 4^th respondent – Tahsildar, who may be directed to consider the same in accordance with law within a stipulated timeframe.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to submit a fresh / new representation to the 4^th respondent – Tahsildar ventilating her grievances. If such a representation along with relevant documents is submitted by the petitioner, the 4^th respondent – Tahsildar shall consider the same and take appropriate decision / pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of submission of the said representation.
