K.C.General Hospital, Bangalore by an auto rickshaw. On the advise of the doctor, later he was shifted to Victoria Hospital, Bangalore. After examining the injured, doctors at Victoria Hospital have declared as brought dead. The claimants have filed this application under Section 16 of the Railway Claims Tribunal Act, 1987, claiming compensation of an amount of ₹8,00,000/-. It is the case of the respondent/Railways that he is not a bonafide passenger and he was not possessing a valid journey ticket to travel from Bangalore city to Bagalkot and the claimant is not entitled for any compensation from the respondent.
