The petitioners have filed the captioned petition to quash the Criminal proceedings launched against them in C.C.No.4741/2021. The said case was committed to the learned V Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Hassan since one of the offence was triable by the session court and it

is renumbered as SC No.149/2022. The said sessions case on trial ended in their acquittal by a judgment and order of acquittal dated 01/07/2023. In view of the above, the above petition has become infructuous and therefore the petitioners may be permitted to withdraw above petition as having becoming infructuous in the ends of justice.”
