Learned Single judge by order dated 22.11.2022 passed in Writ Petition No.21375 of 2022 directed the consideration of the petitioner’s representation within stipulated time. It was in relation to the Petitioner’s grievance about non-updation of the Revenue Records in terms of the Grant Order.

This contempt petition came to be filed complaining that the direction regarding representation has not been complied with.

Along with the compliance-affidavit-cum-response, the respondent-accused produced the decision dated 21.02.2023 of the Tahsildar, Kunigal Taluk, is placed on record.

The Tahsildar has taken a decision that in the facts of the case, the entries was not liable to be made. The decision is therefore taken pursuant to direction of learned Single Judge .

As the decision is taken, the directions of learned Single judge are complied with. Nothing further survives for consideration in these contempt proceedings.

It is observed that if the complainant is aggrieved by the decision, he is not precluded from instituting the independent proceedings assailing the decision, in respect of which, this court does not express any opinion on merits.

The contempt proceedings are accordingly disposed of as closed.
