The direction was issued to the competent authority of the
Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) to allot alternate land to the petitioner as requested by the petitioner in his representation dated 20.02.2021.
When the contempt petition came up for consideration today, learned advocate Mr. Murugesh V. Charati for the respondent stated that sites are allotted to the petitioner. While learned advocate Mr. V. Bharath Kumar for the complainant could not dispute the factum of allotment as it is evident from the copies of the allotment letters dated 27.06.2024 produced along with the memo dated 02.07.2024 filed by the respondent.
In view of the above, since alternate sites are allotted to the petitioner, in substance, compliance is obtained regarding the direction of learned Single Judge and nothing survives in the contempt petition.

The contempt petition stands disposed of accordingly.
While disposing of the present contempt petition, it is provided and directed that necessary formality which may be required to be undergone, including execution of the registered sale deed, shall be completed within three months.
