The direction of learned Single Judge in the order dated 23.03.2023 was with regard to deciding the representation of the complainants.

When the contempt proceedings came up for consideration today, learned advocate Mr. B.B. Sagar for the complainants fairly stated that the said representation was decided by passing the order and that, the contempt petition will not survive.

Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are closed

and stand disposed of as not surviving.

Learned advocate for the complainants, however, submitted that liberty may be reserved to challenge the order which was passed on the representation on merits.
