CONSEQUENTLY DIRECT THE ACCUSED TO RELEASE AND PAY THE DIFFERENCE OF AMOUNT PAYABLE TO THE COMPLAINANT SUCH AS EARNED LEAVE ENCASHMENT, UGC ARREARS AND ALL OTHER BENEFITS IN THE PAY SCALE OF RS.61,060/-, TO WHICH THE COMPLAINANT IS ENTITLE & ETC.

This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 28.03.2023 passed by the learned Single Judge in Writ Petition No.21347/2021.

Learned Principal Government Advocate appearing for the respondents-accused submits before this Court that the order of the learned Single Judge dated 28.03.2023 is now complied with. He invited the attention of this Court to the memo filed today i.e., 02.11.2023.

A perusal of the documents produced along with the memo dated 02.11.2023 shows that at page No.5 an

official communication is produced to the effect that the amount is ordered to be disbursed to the account of the complainant by providing necessary details such as, account number of the complainant & amount. The copy of the demand draft drawn in favour of Income Tax Officer, Mandya by way of TDS is also produced. The Bank account statement is also produced at page No.3 to show that the amount is deposited to the account of the complainant.

Learned counsel for the complainant-petitioner also fairly admits that the respondent authorities have complied with the order of the learned Single Judge and his grievance no more survives. Hence, the contempt petition is disposed off. Notice is discharged.
