THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER
Petitioner – widow is knocking at the doors of Writ Court complaining against non-consideration of her request for mutation of entries and change of katha in respect of the schedule land despite there being a compromise Decree in O.S.No.220/2015. Learned counsel for the Petitioner vehemently argues that there is absolutely no justification whatsoever for the official Respondents not acting upon the Decree in question, even when the widow had made the request. He also highlights difficulties of widow in our society.

entries in accordance with the Compromise Decree that too in a reasonable time. This is absolutely appreciable.
In view of the above, the writ petition is allowed. A direction issues to the Respondents to make entries in respect of subject property in terms of the compromise Decree in question within a period of 45 days and submit a compliance Report both to the Registrar General of this Court and to the Petitioner failing which, Respondents shall personally pay to the Petitioner a sum of Rs.2,500/per day for the delay brooked.
Now, no costs.
