This appeal is directed against the order dated 27.02.2026 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Latehar in B.P. No.67 of 2026 in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No.217 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. No.128 of 2026, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

It has been alleged that some criminals opened fire and threw country made bomb at the Tori Railway Siding, which resulted in the injuries suffered by the workers.

Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated on suspicion as he has been remanded in the present case from another case and his confessional statement was recorded. Learned counsel submits that the appellant is in custody since 11.12.2025. Learned counsel adds that the appellant has got one criminal antecedent.

Learned Spl.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.

Regard being had to the manner of implication of the appellant, we, while setting aside the order dated 27.02.2026 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Latehar in B.P. No.67 of 2026 in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No.217 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. No.128 of 2026, direct the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Latehar.
