Heard Mr. Parwez Ahmad Khan, the learned counsel for the petitioner. None appears on behalf of the State.

This application has been preferred by the appellant for modification of the order dated 26.08.2025 passed in Filing No. Cr.A. (DB) 14420 of 2025 (Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 1063 of 2025).

It appears that an order was passed on 26.08.2025 in Filing No. Cr.A. (DB) 14420 of 2025 (Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 1063 of 2025), in which, the appellant was directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/with two sureties of the like amount each on the ground that the appellant was in custody since 27.03.2013. Based on an application preferred from jail, the modification has been sought for on the ground that the appellant is unable to furnish bail bonds and therefore, the order granting bail be suitably modified.

On consideration of the averments made in the instant application, the order dated 26.08.2025 passed in Filing No. Cr.A. (DB) 14420 of 2025 (Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 1063 of 2025) is modified to the extent that instead of “furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount” the condition of bail shall now be read as “the appellant be released on bail on personal bond”.

The order is accordingly modified.

This application stands disposed of.
