2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Ormanjhi P.S. Case No.33 of 2026, for the alleged offences registered under Section 325 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 11(1)(a) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and Section 12 of Jharkhand Bovine (Prohibition of Slaughter) Act pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that only on the secret information the petitioner has been implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner is neither the driver nor owner of the vehicle on which the cattle were being carried. He then submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.17 of the petition. He next submits that in identical situation co-accused persons have already been granted

anticipatory bail by this Court in A.B.A. Nos.2626 of 2026 and 2731 of 2026. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come on suspicion. 5. Considering that the name of the petitioner has come only on suspicion and the petitioner is neither the driver nor owner of the vehicle on which the cattle were being carried and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.17 of the petition and in identical situation co-accused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail in the aforesaid A.B.As., I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with Ormanjhi P.S. Case No.33 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
