Both these bail applications arise out of the same police case. Accordingly, both these cases are being disposed of by a common order.

The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Mihijam P.S. Case No. 72/2023, for the offences registered under Sections 420, 467, 506/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of Ms. Shalika Anna Herenz, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1^st Class, Jamtara.

It is alleged that accused persons including these petitioners lured the informant for purchasing Maruti Dzire car for consideration amount of Rs. 1,60,000/-. They also told him that the purchased car will be hired by the office of Superintendent of Police, Jamtara. The informant paid Rs. 1,60,000/- to the accused persons. Subsequently, petitioner was told that the said car has met with an accident and two persons have died in the accident and they have to manage the police. They took money from the informant on several occasions. The

informant paid total sum of about Rs. 76,60,000/- to the accused persons. Later on, the informant came to know that he has been cheated.
